There is excitement across Idemili North and South LGAs as Chief Ifeanyichukwu Ibezi, picked the Expression of Interest Form of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The development according to political analysts, marked a significant step in his bid for the Idemili North and South Federal Constituency seat.
Hon. Ibezi actually paid the mandatory fee of four million Naira via an Access Bank cheque and was issued the party receipt bearing serial number 00193.
He was also issued a copy of the party’s Electoral Guidelines for the 2026 primary election.
Chief Ibezi picked the Expression of Interest form few hour, after a hugely successful stakeholders’ meeting, where he received overwhelming endorsements from party leaders, supporters, and key stakeholders to contest the seat.
Speaking after obtaining the form, Ibezi said: “This form gives practical expression to my desire to serve Umu Idemili diligently, honestly, and selflessly. With it, the journey toward quality, people-centred, and impactful representation has truly begun.”
He called on his supporters to remain united, focused, and steadfast as the party approaches its primaries, urging them to embrace the process with sincerity of purpose and commitment to victory.
Some of the stakeholders in Idemili federal constituency expressed optimism that Chief Ibezi would emerge APGA candidate on May 23rd and consequently return as elected House of Reps member in the 2027 National Assembly elections.
