Former Speaker Anambra State Assembly Nebe Commends Obiano For Restoring Confidence In Governance


The Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Political matters Right Honourable Anayo Nnebe says the twenty-ninth year anniversary of Anambra State, calls for sober reflection.


Speaking to the ABS on the anniversary of the creation of Anambra State on twenty-seventh August 1991, Right Honourable Nnebe while thanking the founding fathers of the State for their efforts in actualizing the creation of Anambra State, charged Ndi Anambra to see its development as a collective responsibility.


He extolled the developmental initiatives of Former Governors of the State, for consolidating on the foundation laid by the first Military administrator of the State Navy Captain Joseph Abulu and others which he noted has brought about rapid development of the State Right Honourable Nnebe a one-time Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, used the opportunity to urge Lawmakers to always enact Laws that will ensure even development across parts of the State He commended Governor Willie Obiano for restoring confidence in Governance through people oriented Programmes and policies calling for its sustainability.


Right Honourable Nnebe who maintained that the effective security network in Anambra State has made it a reference point in the comity of States in Nigeria, in addition to attracting both Local and foreign investors.
He charged the people to always protect Government facilities in their various areas.


The one time number one Lawmaker in Anambra State and former member representing Awka North and South federal constituency at the National Assembly reminded the Citizenry of the need to pray for and support those in authority to enable them actualize their vision.
