Can a case of self defense be made against the military? I hope we have heard sufficiently the other side of the story!!
It will be encouraging if the military leaves the innocent villages out of all this and go for the exact perpetuators of this.
A departure from their primitive reprisal ways of wanton obliteration of defenseless villages will be welcomed reasonable act.
One can’t help but wonder why they only apply that destructive measure in the south and middle belt.
When bandits and Boko haram annihilate them in northern villages in some cases with active connivance of the villagers, nobody hears or sees these kinds of responses.
Finally, the composition of the list of fallen compatriots is a true reflection of the ‘federal character’ in the military. To whom much is given plenty is expected !!
Regardless we mourn the losses and condole with the families of the departed Nigerians on both sides.
