From Ifeoma Ejiofor

The Young Progressives Party’s standard bearer for Ihiala federal constituency in 2023 National Assembly elections, Barr Johnmary Akachukwu Maduakolam has applauded the national leader of the party, Sen Ifeanyi Ubah over his support to the fight against insecurity in Anambra State.

The Anambra based lawyer who was commenting on the half a billion Naira worth of security gadgets pledge made by Sen Ubah to Gov Soludo noted that it was a right move in the right direction.

The YPP House of Representatives candidate noted that insecurity is becoming something else as kidnapping is on the rise, a situation which he said has made it incumbent on all the stakesholders to collaborate to tackle the issue.

He said that the intervention of Sen Ubah has again demonstrated that the Young Progressives Party is a responsible and responsive party that is ready to make the state work.

“Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has pledged over 500Million Naira worth of security gadgets and other ancillaries to support the security and developmental welfare of Anambra State.

“That is the spirit in Young Progressives Party, we are passionately committed to making our environment work which of course cannot be achieved without adequate security.

“We cannot pretend that all is well with Ihiala Federal Constituency, that is why we have come up with CLEAN Ihiala project, a model that will ensure that the area bounces back to life and compete favourably with her peers.

“The present day leadership in Ihiala has departed from the rule of law, where law controls both the government and the governed, we are in the House of Representatives race to bid farewell to such political tradition.” He stated

The Anambra based lawyer said that the only to say no to the recent economic situation, poor roads, lack of electricity and other social maladies in ihiala federal constituency is by sending him to the lower chamber of the National Assembly come 2023.
