Kaduna Debt: You’re Disrespectful, Activist Blasts El-Rufai’s Son Over Attack On Gov Sani

A Kaduna-based politician and activist, Hon. Ibrahim Ahmadu, has condemned what he described as “disrespectful and mannerless” outbursts of Bashir El-Rufai, the son of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, against Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani.

According to the activist, Bashir’s Saturday’s tweets in reaction to the disclosure of the debt burden on Kaduna State Government as disclosed by Governor Sani, was not only an act of myopic incense, but also evidence of a “badly trained child”.

Comrade Ahmadu, who stated this in his reaction to the viral tweets of Bashir Elrufai, said there was nothing wrong with Governor Uba Sani revealing the state of debt left behind by his predecessor, Malam Nasir Elrufai.

“What is wrong is the inability of the former Governor’s son to comprehend the rationale behind the disclosure to public.

“His vituperations are unguarded, stupid and unacceptable, especially when the man involved has helped the family during hard times of political waves.

“Was it wrong for Governor Uba Sani to address Kaduna citizens at a town hall meeting? The governor had said he inherited a huge debt burden that was eating deep into the state’s federal allocation.

“For us, as citizens of the State, we can’t accept a situation where N7bn out of the N10bn federal allocation for the state in March was deducted to service the state’s debt.

“And for an ill-trained son of a former Governor of the State to attack the incumbent Governor is unacceptable in all sense of decorum.

“Bashir should bury his head in shame. If Uba Sani opens his mouth to talk about how El-Rufai his father looted the state, they will all be in jail,” Ahmadu stated.
