Olu Jacobs, Peter Edochie, others for recognition at Awka film festival

Inside Nollywood Film Festival And Awards (INFFAA) says arrangements have been concluded to hold her maiden film festival in Awka, the Anambra State capital in which prominent actors and actresses would be recognized.

The founder of INFFAA, Mouma Obinna revealed this during a press briefing which took place at Marble Arch Hotel, Awka.

The festival billed for 25th-27th November has the theme “Reawakening our cultural values through motion picture.”

Obinna said that the theme draws on the principle of creating original African contents which he said goes beyond geography, birth or lineage.

The founder of INFFAA said that the group is deliberately committed to the ideals of empowerment and creative engagement through her investment in the development of local creative talents.

He said that the group which was founded in 2014 is staffed with skilled professionals, creative innovators, seasoned developers and outstanding content analysts.

“Inside Nollywood Film Festival And Award is created to celebrate African creative minds in the entertainment industry. It also creates platform where filmmakers all over the world especially Africans meet and share ideas.” INFFAA founder pointed out.

Obinna revealed that fallen heroes in the industry like Sam Loco Efe, Justice Esiri and other would get post hummus awards while prominent names who are still standing like Chief Pete Edochie, Olu Jacobs and many others would also get different awards.

The founder of INFFAA said that the Awka film festival would attract over three hundred film makers in Nigeria while many other key players in the industry from Ghana, Cameron USA and Arab Nations have also indicated interest to be around for the epoch making event.

A renowned actor, Obi Dike was unveiled as the brand ambassador for the three film festival.

Representatives of Igbowood(WW) Pension Alliance and other partners of INFFAA were around during the press briefing.
