The development followed his emergence as Standard Bearer for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Udenu Constituency.

Political ambition should face a simple test: What experience does a candidate bring, and how will that experience serve the people? For Ugwuoke Ikechukwu Eugenio, popularly known as Ambassador Chief Great Ugwuoke, the answer begins with his background in business, public administration and community leadership.
A native of Obollo Nkwo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Chief Ugwuoke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Anambra State University. His biography places him at the intersection of commercial enterprise, traders’ representation and government–community relations.
As Group Managing Director of VIBCINJECH Nigeria Limited, headquartered in Awka with branches across southeastern Nigeria, he oversees business interests in lubricants, motor vehicles and automobile spare parts. His involvement in real estate also includes low-cost housing—an area directly connected to the everyday challenge of securing decent accommodation.
His leadership experience extends beyond business. He has served as Executive Assistant on Community Liaison to former Anambra State Governor, Chief Dr. Willie Obiano, alongside responsibilities in market administration, cooperative organisation and community associations.
Those roles include Deputy Chairman of Odera Market, Awka; Secretary-General of the Anambra State National Union of Market Employers of Nigeria; Chairman of the Anambra State Non-Indigenes Cooperative Society Limited; and Anambra Central Zonal Coordinator of ASMATA. He has also served as Deputy Chairman of the Obollo Social Union in Anambra State and President of the Nsukka Young Stars Friends Club of Nigeria.
As President-General of the Association of Non-Indigenes Welfare in Anambra State, his stated advocacy centres on equality, fairness, equitable representation and the common good. These principles must carry practical meaning: listening to people, defending fair treatment and making public institutions answerable to those they serve.
Now the PDP House of Assembly flag bearer for Udenu Constituency in the 2027 general election, Chief Ugwuoke brings that experience into the contest for legislative representation.
The standard must remain demanding. A credible campaign should explain how experience will translate into effective lawmaking, rigorous oversight and accessible representation. His background provides a foundation; a clear legislative programme and measurable commitments must show what he intends to build upon it.
