Security: Ekweremadu Urges FG To Seek Foreign Assistance


Former Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, has enjoined the federal government to explore the possibility of getting assistance from foreign countries that have such capacity in order to protect the sovereignty of the country, it’s people and democracy.

Ekweremadu made the call on Thursday on the heels of the continued loss of lives and property to all forms of insecurity across the country.

The former deputy senate president while commissioning the Abonnema Ring Road in Akuku Toru Local Government Area of the state which is one of the many projects the Rivers State government has been inaugurating since the 4th of January.
