Tinubu Withdraws Nomination Of 24-yr-Old Imam As FERMA Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the withdrawal of Imam Kashim Imam’s nomination as chairman of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) board.

In a statement on Wednesday, presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale said Tinubu directed Imam’s nomination be rescinded with immediate effect.

However, Ngelale clarified that all other appointments to the FERMA board and management remain unchanged by the president’s directive

No reasons were given for the sudden withdrawal of Imam’s nomination to head the roads agency responsible for maintenance and repairs of federal highways across Nigeria.
