Valentine Ozigbo’s Walk4Health Holds In Nnewi

By Ifeoma Ejiofor

It was gathering of political timbers and calibres as the third Valentine Ozigbo Walk4Health exercise on Saturday held in the industrial town of Nnewi, Anambra State.

The early morning destruction of the PDP governorship aspirant materials for the walk by unknown hoodlums was not enough to discourage him and the people who gathered for the event.

The Walk4Health train which took off from St Andrews DCC Nnewi went through Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital NAUTH, then connected to St Peter Catholic Church Nnewichi, and move to Nnewi High School and then to the take off point.

In his speech after the walk, Hon Valentine Ozigbo commended the people for trooping out in their good numbers to be part of walk.

He condemned the early morning destruction of his materials by yet to be identified hoodlums, a development which according to him is alien to the state.

Hon Ozigbo noted that all Covid-19 prevention protocols were observed as facemasks, hand sanitizer and other items were freely shared at the occasion.

The PDP governorship hopeful appreciated individuals who supported the health walk with noodles, table water and other materials which he said was a demonstration of their support for his aspiration.

He said that he is fully prepared to give Anambra State a governance that every Anambra man and woman would be proud of.
