Ahead of 2027 General Elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has on Saturday, August 1, 2026 published the name of Prince Samben Ikechukwu Nwosu as the Anambra South Senatorial Candidate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The publication of the list of successful candidates submitted by the various political parties for the forthcoming President and National Assembly elections is inline with the 2022 Electoral act and INEC guidelines which empowers the Electoral commission to publish list of participating candidates and their credentials for public scrutiny.
The Independent National Electoral Commission publication of Samben Nwosu as the 2027 PDP Anambra South Senatorial Candidate as submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party National leadership ably led by Hon. Abdurahman Muhammed and Sen. Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu as the National Chairman and National Secretary of the largest party in Africa is an affirmation that PDP is one, ready and indivisible.
An evident posture that the Peoples Democratic Party is back to winning ways, starting from Anambra South, to other elective political positions in Nigeria. Another clear message of hope and resilience from the Party to the people, through the presentation of Prince Nwosu, a grassroot politician with experience of having served as the ward chairman, LGA party’s Publicity Secretary, State Organizing Secretary, State Publicity Secretary and now, contesting for the position of Senate for the good people of Anambra South Senatorial District.
