BREAKING: Hon Rev Uche Ibeabuchi visits FCC Awka Office: Gets the Support of Obi of Onitsha

The Federal Character Commissioner representing Anambra state, Hon Uche Ibeabuchi, on Friday visited the Anambra state office of the Federal Character Commission. The commissioner was received by staff of the Commission.

Hon Ibeabuchi was happy at the commitment of the staff, and assured them of cordial relationship in order to achieve the aims and objectives of the Federal Character Commission.

During the meeting, they discussed ways and modalities of promoting the affairs of the Commission and Nigeria at large. The staff of the Commission pledged to work with Hon Ibeabuchi to improve on their responsibility to the nation.

After the visit, Hon Uche Ibeabuchi paid a courtesy call to the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe CFR.

The Obi of Onitsha was happy to receive him at his Palace. He blessed the Honorable Commissioner and encouraged him to remain resilient and focused.

Igwe Achebe pledged to support the Commissioner in any way possible to facilitate the discharge of his duties, especially, when the interest of Ndi Anambra and Nigeria at large is protected.

Hon Uche Ibeabuchi thanked the traditional ruler for the kind words of encouragement, and promised to work with all stakeholders to the best of Nigeria’s interest.
