The governors under the fold of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have promised to work hard to ensure victory for the PDP candidate, Mr Valentine Ozigbo in November 6 election.
The governors and other national leaders of the party gave this assurance in Awka during the flag off of electronic membership registration in Anambra State.
The governors of Edo State and Chairman of the E-Registration, Mr Godwin Obaseki, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Abia State governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu all expressed their commitment to a successful outing for Mr Ozigbo on November 6.
The former Anambra State governor, Mr Peter Obi who was Vice Presidential candidate of the party in the 2019 general elections also threw his weight behind the PDP governors when he declared emphatically that Mr Valentine Ozigbo will emerge victorious in the November polls.
The Anambra former governor at the occasion also instituted mouth watering awards for all the wards that register more than one hundred members.
Mr Obi stressed the need for all hands to be on the deck to make the dream of PDP emerging victorious in the governorship election a reality.
