The wife of the Oyo State Governor, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde, has reassured residents of the state of government’s resolve to get justice for victims of sexual violence.
Mrs Makinde spoke at the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict.
She urged members of the public to support government in the efforts to end sexual violence, stressing that no one should be a bystander in matters of rape and sexual violence.
“It is by joining hands that we can defeat the atrocious crime in our society. Call 615, in case of any emergency,” she said.
