B. Robinson Oil and Gas Ltd and B. Robinson Coffee House took off with a bang

At 7 am Tuesday morning the ultra-modern styled filling station, B. Robinson Oil and Gas Ltd and adjoining sister company, B. Robinson Coffee House, a concept modeled to coffee houses around Atlanta in the state of Georgia, United States of American.

Both companies are located in Okpuno Otolo Nnewi in Nnewi North LGA, along the strategic Ezenwegbu road. The companies are located about a pole and half before the Onitsha Nnewi Okigwe Express way.

Both new companies belong to Sir Bobby Okwuosa (Dikebieluibeya), the CEO of Fancee construction company, a notable player in the construction industry in Anambra and Enugu state.

The opening, we learned was not even planned, yet, the place became a beehive of activities throughout the day. The Arch-Deacon and a coterie of Anglican priests from Saint Thomas, Akwudo in Okpuno Otolo Nnewi were on hand to dedicate the facilities to the Almighty God.

As the prayers rained like a massive tornado storm, suddenly, people from all works of life began to troop in. Besides a lot of personalities who pulled in to participate in the ceremony, the motorcycle transporters started to file in and arranged themselves in an orderly manner. Some tricycle and vehicle commercial operators also trickled in gradually and took position towards the pump stations. The priests’ remarkable prayers invoked such spiritual ardor as if sprinkled dews of blessing were pouring down on everyone present at the magnificent filling station that acted as the stage for the dedication of both entities coming on stream through the powerful invocations. The priests blessed all the staff of Sir Bobby’s entire organization present, and the invites and well wishers at the scene equally.

As soon as the prayer session was over, the CEO, Sir Bobby Okwuosa flanked by his older brother, Robert Okwuosa (Merci mama), thanked the priests and everyone present for the opening. He also ordered free gasoline for every operator present at the filling, as well as invites.

From the filling station, everybody went into the coffee house for hot-steaming coffee with your choice of egg served. While everyone was catching their breath and wondering how long it must have taken the owner to acquire the various high-end equipment for making pizza, waffle, ice cream, and different bread, etc., the CEO announced that from 12.30 pm, anybody present must have a gift of a giant loaf of bread, in addition to free lunch.

When our team returned to the premises by 12.25 pm, different types of rolls and bread were steadily being pulled out of the giant oven for everybody to make his or her choice for take away. We have not witnessed this level of generosity from like-businesses around the state, going all out to accommodate limitless number of people that kept coming. The party went on into the night.

We have not witnessed this level of generosity from like-businesses around the state, going all out to accommodate a limitless number of people that kept coming. The party went on into the night.

When we asked Sir Bobby what drove him into these lines of industry, he told us that he used to take refuge in the coffee house houses, rest while drinking his coffee, or take one on the go while he went for very early business engagements. He said, “frankly, I have negotiated significant businesses while taking my coffee with business associates at the coffee houses.” He also argued that coffee lovers should be able to have access to quality coffee the way they like without compromise on taste and quality.

As far as bread goes, Sir Bobby hates to eat bread that was not made fresh. He said that has such fondness for fresh-baked bread, and he knows that virtually all his friends have the same taste. He queries, “Can you beat the sweet aroma of fresh-baked bread? No, you cannot”.  That baking bread for people has always been his desire, but he did not want to do it in a manner that would not accentuate quality.

Several dignitaries were at the ceremony, but the members of Sir Bobby’s Committee of Friends were in full force in the morning and afternoon program. Some of the members there were the President, Chiedozie Azubuike; vice-President, Barrister Nnamdi Chima; Secretary, Lonely; Chief Oseloka Osuigwe; Hon Ezeakukwu Emma Nsoedo (PhD); Chief Kh Oraka, Barrister Ikenna Ubaezuonu, Chief Ben Ohagwu, Hon Mrs Vero (Madam Sylva) Nweke; Chief Emmanuel Unigwe; Chief Chukwuma Soludo, and Chief Peter Ekechukwu.

Personalities such as Chief Inno Concord Njideofor, Obinna Amachukwu (Obinaco), Chioma Ndefo, Uzo Ulasi, and various groups were adequately represented.
